Our Interests

I (Justin) am a sports fanatic! I love watching and playing just about any sport. Coaching is my passion. I am currently assistant coaching basketball for a local college, as well as head coaching at the junior high school level. My professional goal is to one day be a head basketball coach at a university. Sports aside, I love doing anything outdoors and I also like to read.

I (Cheryl) like doing very active things, such as; running, swimming, hiking, skiing, among other things. I also enjoy reading, cooking and decorating, especially for holidays. I am currently finishing my degree in Dental Hygiene. I chose dental hygiene as my major mainly because of how flexible it can be. I am not planning on working until my children are in school, and even then it would be part time. I always had my mom in the home growing up and that has been an important goal for me as well.

Gabriel

We adopted our son, Gabriel who is now almost two years old. Adoption has truly been a blessing in our lives. We write letters and send pictures to his birth mother often and are open to communication with birth parents. We do our best to provide a loving, nurturing environment for our son and can not wait to bring another child into our home to love and care for.

All of Us

Justin grew up in Oregon, near Portland. He has two brothers one being his identical twin, and also a half-sister. He spent a lot of time on the beach growing up. His family spent time there camping, fishing, clamming and crabbing.

Cheryl grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and has two brothers. Her family is very active. She spent a lot of time outdoors with her family growing up. we love to camp, travel, ski, hike etc…
